I can't wait to get up to Marconi in the balmy September air, up above that gorgeous bay that holds so much strange power to enchant, to spend time workshopping and writing with other writers, letting the ideas come, eating and walking in the forest and finally having the time to really think these literary ideas through, to follow ideas as long as they need to be followed. Oh, the sea breezes in the pines! Oh, the cheeses in Point Reyes Station! Oh, those little pastries up in the town of Tomales and memories of the Tomales Country Inn back when Laura Hoffman worked there and it was run by those folks from NPR, Joanne and John ... but that's nostalgia. The thing is, we'll be at Marconi at a gorgeous time of year, September, Virgo's month, the month of return, of harvest. So to register now and save big bucks, or to put down a deposit and reserve a space, CLICK HERE, as they say in the LAND OF ALL CAPS.
Mark it in your calendar: Saturday through Tuesday, Sept. 20-23, 2008. Be there!
You will be amazed at how many ideas and emotions can unfold over a long weekend in a quiet retreat above Tomales Bay. Daily workshops will unlock imaginative forces and stimulate creative thinking. Many free hours will remain to wander and think and write. So join us!
